Available all year round, this adventure is perfect for both beginners and experienced riders, offering beautiful and smooth routes tailored to your skill level. Enjoy a scenic ride through natural paths surrounded by stunning Icelandic scenery, including the beautiful areas around Lake Elliðavatn or Rauðavatn. We ride in well-managed groups (up to 18 guests with 3-4 professional guides) to ensure a personal, friendly, and safe experience as you get to know our charming and sure-footed Icelandic horses.

Good to Know
- Duration: 2.5 hours total (includes 1.5 hours of riding time).
- Difficulty: Easy (Suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced).
- Weight limit: Maximum rider weight is 110 kg (242 lbs).
- Meeting Point / Time: If you are driving yourself, please arrive at Sólhestar Horse Rental Reykjavik 15 minutes before your scheduled riding time.
- Pick-up Time: If you book the optional transfer from Reykjavik, your pick-up will start 30 minutes before your scheduled riding time.
- Note: Fully private tours are available upon request.
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation: Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable (100% cancellation fee).
