Itinerary Highlights

  • Day 1: Waterfalls & Black Sand Beaches. Start the day by visiting the iconic Seljalandsfoss (where you can walk behind the water) and the hidden Gljúfrabúi waterfall. Continue to the mighty Skógafoss and the dramatic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. You may also visit the “Bridge of the Volcanoes” in Skaftafell before checking into your hotel. After dinner, your guide will help you look out for the Northern Lights! Overnight: 3-star hotel on the South Coast.
  • Day 2: Jökulsárlón & The Ice Cave. Wake up to a delicious breakfast before heading to the famous Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. You will then strap on your safety gear for a thrilling Ice Cave tour. On the drive back to Reykjavík, the tour passes through the moss-covered Eldhraun lava fields with a potential stop in the coastal village of Vík.
