Food and drinks (There is no bar or kitchen on board, but you are more than welcome to bring your own snacks and water)
Hotel pick-up and drop-off (Guests meet directly at the ticket office)
What to Bring
A camera or phone to capture the memories (a strap is highly recommended so you don’t drop it!)
Warm layers, a hat, and gloves (It is always much colder out at sea than on land)
Closed-toe shoes (for your safety and comfort on deck)
Sunglasses with good UV protection

Duration: 2.5 to 3.0 hours.
Meeting Point: Friends of Moby Dick Ticket Office (Hafnarstétt 23, 640 Húsavík). Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure. Please note: To ensure the best experience, departures may occasionally be moved to an alternative nearby harbor if weather conditions require it. In such cases, you will be contacted directly.
Age Requirement: No age limit! Everyone from 0 to 100 years old is welcome on board.
Wildlife Guarantee: Nature implies unpredictability. While we have over a 98% sighting success rate, sightings cannot be absolutely guaranteed. In the rare event of a “no sighting” tour, refunds are not offered. However, we will gladly offer you a complimentary ticket to join an alternative departure, subject to availability!
Accessibility: Due to the nature of the vessels, our boats are not wheelchair accessible.
Luggage: Large bags and luggage cannot be brought on board due to limited space, but they can be kept safely at our ticket office during the tour.
Smoking on board is strictly forbidden.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation: Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable (100% cancellation fee).
