Laugarás Lagoon is located along Iceland’s most popular sightseeing route, featuring Geysir, Gullfoss, and Þingvellir National Park. Surrounded by mountains and overlooking the Hvítá River, the two‑story lagoon blends naturally into the landscape with warm geothermal pools, a cold plunge, and two saunas.

Guests can complete their visit with a meal at Ylja Restaurant, led by renowned Icelandic chef Gísli Matt. The seasonal menu is crafted using ingredients sourced from nearby farms, fisheries, and greenhouses.

This experience is ideal for friends, couples, families, and solo travelers looking to enjoy a scenic and relaxing part of the Golden Circle.

Exclusions Bus fare. Food and drinks. Guests must bring their own bathing suit and a towel. Drinks and meals can be purchased on site.

Accessibility Laugarás Lagoon is wheelchair accessible and offers private changing rooms for guests with limited mobility. Children aged 8 and older are welcome in the lagoon. Children aged 7 and younger are not permitted in the water, but all ages are welcome at Ylja Restaurant.

What Do I Need to Bring? Guests must bring swimwear and a towel. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are included.
