Laugarás Lagoon is located along Iceland’s most popular sightseeing route, featuring Geysir, Gullfoss, and Þingvellir National Park. Surrounded by mountains and overlooking the Hvítá River, the two‑story lagoon blends seamlessly into the landscape with warm geothermal pools, a cold plunge, and two elegant saunas.
Guests can complete their visit with a meal at Ylja Restaurant, led by renowned Icelandic chef Gísli Matt. The seasonal menu is crafted using ingredients sourced from nearby farms, fisheries, and greenhouses.

Ösp admission includes a two‑course day menu at Ylja, our signature restaurant. The final optional dining slot is at 16:30. A table reservation will be made for 2 hours after your lagoon entry time. Please contact us directly if you prefer a different dining time or need alternative arrangements.

Accessibility Laugarás Lagoon is wheelchair accessible and offers private changing rooms for guests with limited mobility or limited eyesight. Children aged 8 and older are welcome in the lagoon. Children aged 7 and younger are not permitted in the water, but all ages are welcome at Ylja Restaurant.
What Do I Need to Bring? Guests must bring their own swimwear. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and towel use are included.
